KIARA - 6 months - 1 yr old, 56+ pounds, nervous in shelter. KIARA is a shy girl who was left at the house of her owner's friend. The owner abandoned her and after Kiara and the resident dog got in to a fight, Kiara was surrendered. She is still a baby at less than a year old so time, training, and attention will be important as Kiara navigates herself into a new home and routine. She is starting to join our shelter playgroup but is the one hanging on the outskirts of the players. She definitely enjoyed the fresh air and being able to take in some sunshine. She wasn't that hip on engaging in the play with the other dogs. Kiara is so far good on the leash and also enjoys going for walks. Come on out to meet her!
